i was walking from flinders st. station to work earlier this week and saw a bunch of cardboard signs that had been fastened to various parts of the bridge over to southbank. they were pretty confronting, and made me stop and take a minute to consider what could have happened to have people put them up... must have been terrible. by friday morning, after the huge rainstorm on thursday, all the signs were gone. i hope john went home.
